How to refer to Community Outreach Services

Our outreach services are delivered in the community, face-to-face, virtual/online or by telephone support. We deliver group work to support your recovery from the trauma of abuse.

Community Outreach Services

We will support you if you want to leave an abusive relationship, are experiencing abuse from an ex-partner or family member(s) or to stay more safely in a relationship, and your home.

You will receive support based on what you need and what you choose to do. We will listen and believe you and help you make informed choices about your future. Together, we will develop a support plan based on your experiences and help you with referrals to other services as needed. Support can be accessed in various ways to suit your needs. This includes face-to-face, telephone and video call.

Our teams will provide emotional and practical support for safety and recovery from abuse within your home or in the community. We can help you to access to safe accommodation with or without children, specialist BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) and LGTBQI+ support, mental and physical health support, recovery, resettlement and aftercare support.

Support for adults

Our outreach services for adults are delivered in the community face-to-face, virtual/online or by telephone support. We can invite you to our group work to promote recovery from abuse and gain support from other people who have had the same experiences.

We have outreach support for LGBTQ+, BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) and male victim-survivors, including referral to safe accommodation.

Support for children and young people

Our specialist teams support children and young people who have experienced abuse by helping them to feel safe. Our children’s outreach service works alongside adult outreach to support children and families in the community, including independent support for children and young people.

Services are free and confidential, delivered by domestic abuse practitioners.
