At FCWA, we’re currently looking for an Office Manager (with financial responsibility) to join our team.
Working closely with the CEO and Service Manager, the job holder will be responsible for day-to-day finance duties and coordinate the administrative operations of Fylde Coast Women’s Aid to provide a reliable support function which covers all operational areas including Finance, and facilities management.
Some key duties will include:
Assist with data collection
Helping establish and maintain office procedures
To assist the finance officer and CEO with budgetary control arrangements, maintain accounts, salaries and efficient running of the charity
To attend and take minutes of CEO Board meetings, and other meetings, where required.
To type confidential reports and correspondence, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other statutory requirements and maintain files and the filing systems
Use a range of software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office
We are looking for someone who has:
Have at least two years’ experience of working in an office environment
Ability to recruit, manage and supervise staff
Strong IT and typing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with a wide range of people
Knowledge of office procedures and practices and advising of timely filing of returns, etc
Have an understanding of the voluntary sector
Understanding of SAGE, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and budgets
The post will be office based in Blackpool.
This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and clearance.

To work with the police to provide pro-active, high-quality, frontline service to victims of domestic violence and abuse through risk assessment, individual safety planning, advocacy, and emotional and practical support.
As an IDVA, you will support victims who have been identified via the police. The role includes attending reports of domestic violence and abuse or revisits with police officers to ensure that the victim receives early access to IDVA support. Any risks will be eliminated before the IDVA speaks to the victim.

Our work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse.
FCWA is currently looking for an Outreach worker to work across Wyre and Fylde, working with victims who have suffered or who are suffering domestic abuse. You will facilitate peer support sessions, co-deliver structured programmes and provide clients 1-1 therapeutic support.
You will complete and update risk assessments and individual support and safety plans for clients, working independently and as part of a specialised team.
This role is subject to successful references and an enhanced DBS check.
